How To Enrol - Tambelin Independent School

Kindergarten enrolments

Children who turn five before the 1^st March may enrol in kindergarten at the start of the same year.

Years 1-6 enrolments

We accept enrolments from year 1-6 students at any time during the year however, our priority is kindergarten enrolments. We recommend to fill out an expression of interest on this website and the school Principal will be in contact with you.

If you’re interested in enroling your child at Tambelin, here are the next steps:

Contact us – call us on 0419 165 894 to make a time to attend a pre-enrolment interview
Complete an expression of interest form - complete and submit an Expression of Interest Form (below). This will help guide our discussions about your child at the pre-enrolment interview. If there is no place available for your child, we’ll place your name on the waiting list and contact you when a place becomes available.
Interview – we’ll make a time for you to meet our Principal, Catherine Harborne. We suggest that all parents/guardians attend this interview, along with the prospective student(s). The interview will cover the history, philosophy, and educational structure of the school as well as your child’s educational development/needs and previous educational experiences.
Enrolment information pack – we’ll send you a pack that includes all the forms and information you need to enrol at Tambelin. You can also take a look at the information pack online.

Finalising Enrolment

Once we receive your completed enrolment forms and supporting documents, we’ll review your application and let you know if your enrolment has been approved.

Expression of Interest

When a position becomes available at the school, the teacher will arrange pre-enrolment interviews.
